Work in Gothenburg. Relocate with full support.
Sendify is a fast-growing logistics SaaS platform based in Gothenburg, Sweden. We already have a German-speaking sales and customer service team here in Gothenburg, and now we're growing it. We're looking for people who want to join us and build something new. If you're open to relocating, we handle the practical side so you can focus on the job.
What we do, and why it matters
Shipping is still one of the most manual, fragmented parts of running a small business. Sendify changes that. Every week, we give 4,000+ businesses a single platform to compare prices, book shipments, and track freight across carriers. The result: less time spent on logistics, more time spent on everything else.
We're a team of 70+ people based in central Gothenburg, and the German market is one of our fastest-growing areas right now. The German team is small today, but the plan is to more than double it over the coming year, going from feeling new on the market to holding real ground on it. That's what makes this an exciting moment to join: you'll help decide how fast it grows and how far it goes.
-
We're looking for people who are passionate about sales, hitting ambitious targets, and genuinely love making customers happy. People who find it exciting to be part of a journey, to feel that they're helping build something new. We're a bit like a startup within Sendify.

Maite Blum, Customer Service
Maite had already lived in Gothenburg once, as an exchange student. When she finished her master's in Cologne, she knew she wanted to come back. She found Sendify while searching for jobs before she'd even moved, kept the listing in the back of her mind, and applied as soon as she arrived. Seven months in, she describes the job as her entry ticket to Swedish life. The colleagues became her social circle. The office became the place where Gothenburg finally felt like home.
"Sometimes I feel like I'm at uni or something. There's so many young people here when we have meetings. It's just like sitting with your friends and I'm just like, is this really my job?"
-
Sascha Mahlstedt, Sales Executive
Sascha had worked alongside Swedish colleagues before and liked what he saw. When Sendify posted a role for a German-speaking Sales Executive in Gothenburg, the timing was right. Six months in, he's grown beyond the job title, helping recruit and onboard new German-speaking team members, running their first introduction to the team. He puts it simply: it's a growing company, and if you want to be part of something real, this is the moment.
"It's much more like working together. You can go and ask for help and everyone is willing to help you. Everyone wants to help with everything – that's really awesome."
-
Marius Heinrich, Sales Development Representative
Marius moved to Gothenburg for a relationship, and found the job while searching on his own. His first week at Sendify was also his third week in the city. Everything was new at once: the role, the CRM, the country. But his first impression of the office stuck with him. Music playing, people moving, energy everywhere. It didn't look like what he expected work to look like. It looked better.
"When I opened the door, they were playing music, everybody was vibing – I was like, that can't be work. That's more like fun."

Life in Gothenburg
”If you're loving nature, if you're loving good food, then Gothenburg is definitely something you should experience." Sascha Mahlstedt, Sales Executive
Gothenburg is compact, coastal, and easy to get around by bike. Sweden's second largest city sits on the west coast, with the archipelago on its doorstep and a food scene that's bolder than its size suggests. The feel is open and unpretentious. People coming from Munich or Berlin are often surprised by how much calmer it is, and by how quickly it starts to feel like home.
-
Everyone told me 'oh my God, Sweden, it's going to be so dark, so cold, so expensive.' I was prepared for the worst. And yeah, the winters are a bit darker, but coming from a German city, I was positively surprised.

Sweden has special days for eating different things, and I love that. It usually means free fika at the office. Fair warning: you should probably be into coffee.

What make someone take the leap and move? Honestly, it comes down to security. It's a big step, and I've noticed that things like housing and real support during the move matter enormously, and being clear about compensation matters too. That's exactly what we put in place here at Sendify.

In Germany I was used to one interview and a trial day, then yes or no. Here it was a call, an interview, the office, lunch with the team, references. I kept thinking 'why is this taking so long?' Looking back, that was them really getting to know me, and me getting to know them.

FAQ
-
Do I need to speak Swedish to work at Sendify?
No. The role is built around German, that's what matters here. You'll work in German with customers every day, and English is the company language internally. Swedish isn't a requirement, and most of your colleagues speak excellent English.
-
What is a personnummer - and how do I get one?
A personnummer is your Swedish personal identity number. You need it for almost everything: opening a bank account, signing up for healthcare, and accessing most digital services. Sendify will support you through the process of obtaining it. It typically takes a few weeks after you register with the Swedish Tax Agency. We'll make sure you know what to expect and what steps to take before you arrive.
-
How does Sendify help me find housing?
You'll find your own place, but we'll support you along the way and help with temporary housing for your first months.
-
What is the cost of living in Gothenburg?
Living in Gothenburg costs about the same as in a larger German city. A few things are pricier, like going out for a drink, but everyday costs land more or less where you'd expect coming from Germany. With a competitive salary and Sendify's relocation support, it's a comfortable place to settle.
“When I got here I was positively surprised. The rent is actually pretty okay. Groceries are a bit more expensive. What is really pricier is alcohol, and coffee too. Public transport surprised me, I thought it would be cheaper given Scandinavia's sustainable image, but it isn't really. On the other hand, the trains and trams are much more punctual than in Germany, which I appreciate."
Maite Blum, Customer Service -
How much can I earn in a sales role at Sendify?
Sales roles come with a solid base salary and an commission model that genuinely rewards results, so the people who close deals see it in their paycheck. The base is competitive and based on your role and experience, we're happy to talk real numbers during the process.
-
Can my partner and family come with me?
Yes. The relocation package includes flights for your partner and children if they're moving with you.
-
How long does the relocation process take?
From signed contract to first day in the office, most people plan for four to eight weeks. This gives time to sort the practical side, travel to Gothenburg, and get settled before starting. We'll walk you through the timeline when you receive an offer.
-
What should I know before moving to Sweden?
Getting set up takes a few steps. Your personnummer, bank account, and tax registration all connect to each other, so the first weeks involve some admin before everything clicks into place. It's where our relocation support comes in. You'll get help with the practical setup, personnummer and ID card, bank account, insurance, and tax registration, plus support for your first months.
