Founded 2016, Sendify quickly gained traction in Sweden and is now one of the fastest-growing startups in logistics looking to scale up even further in Germany. 

About the role

Write history and lead Sendify’s first expansion into the heart of Europe. Build your own growth team from scratch and play a key role in establishing Sendify as the #1 shipping platform in Europe for small businesses. Backed by some of the most distinguished investors in Europe, such as Atlantic Labs (Soundcloud, Gorillas, Getyourguide), Ryder (Forto, Byrd, Voi)  we aim to become market leaders in Germany within just years of market entry.

We believe in autonomy, and as Head of Growth for Germany, you will be fully responsible for setting up all operations, building your own team, developing the business activities, and gaining market leadership – with the support of the founding team.

You will own Germany’s Inbound Acquisition efforts, report directly to the Country Manager. At the same time you will be a part of our international network, and help shape the future of this young company as we quickly scale up in additional international markets.

About you

We believe that your entrepreneurial spirit has influenced your career choices and led you to gain a broad set of skills within growth & marketing, with your specialty lying within digital marketing. You have likely gained your experience from positions at high performing marketing agencies, startups/scaleups and/or inhouse at marketing platforms; google/facebook – and you feel an urge to truly test your skills by developing your very own growth organisation. 

  1. You are an entrepreneur by heart; ready to get your hands dirty and take on any challenge thrown your way
  2. You have +2 years of professional experience in a client-facing marketing strategy role or account management role
  3. You have experience in successfully developing and leading multi-phase projects with diverse stakeholders
  4. You have successfully planned and deployed integrated digital marketing or communications campaigns to drive acquisition, increase retention or improve customer long-term value
  5. You have advanced knowledge of data-driven marketing practices: audience segmentation, personalization, retargeting, exclusions, etc.
  6. You can present complex ideas to team members in a compelling and energetic way
  7. You have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
  8. You are goal driven, self-starter and an avid learner
  9. You value social sustainability and you’re excited to help make the Tech/startup industry more diversified and inclusive 

What you’ll be responsible for

  1. Gaining Market Leadership
    1. You will be in charge of B2B inbound acquisition 
    2. Determine, manage and deploy media budgets and across channels and markets
    3. Lead ongoing marketing initiatives including SEO, Google Ads, Social Media and email campaigns, outcomes-based analytics and data reporting
    4. You'll will be in charge of internal and external teams to generate creative asset and content development
    5. Develop multi-channel marketing strategies to improve engagement, conversion and retention metrics
    6. Collaborate to develop customized marketing solutions
    7. Analyze integrated marketing performance by audience segment and make adjustments to optimize customer experience, personalization and relevance
    8. Use analytical and modeling skills to understand channel economics and optimize campaign performance
