Head of Sales m/f/x for B2B/mSME Scaleup

About the role

Write history and lead Sendify’s first expansion into the heart of Europe. Build your own dream sales team from scratch and take the successful shipping platform to new heights. Backed by some of the most distinguished investors in Europe, such as Atlantic Labs (Soundcloud, Gorillas, Getyourguide), Ryder (Forto, Byrd, Voi)  we aim to become market leaders in Germany within just years of market entry.

We believe in autonomy, and as Head of Sales for Germany, you will be fully responsible for setting up all operations, building your own sales team, developing the business activities, and gaining market leadership –  with the support of the founding team.

You will own Germany’s Outbound Sales efforts, report directly to the Country Manager. At the same time you will be a part of our international network, and help shape the future of this young company as we quickly scale up in additional international markets.

About you

We believe that your entrepreneurial spirit has influenced your career choices and led you to gain valuable SME sales and management experiences from positions within Logistics, Telekom, Insurance, Finance or other established industries and are ready to truly test your skills by developing your very own sales organisation. Qualifications: 

  1. You have experience that proves that you are an entrepreneur at heart, willing to get your hands dirty and take on any challenge thrown your way
  2. You have gained a min. of +2 years of work experience in a managerial role within B2B mSME
  3. You are deeply passionate about building and scaling sales strategies towards a micro/small businesses through inside sales (Clients with <20 employees)
  4. You have successfully built up and managed a sales team of up to 5-10 FTE's 
  5. You value social sustainability and you’re excited to help make the Startup/Tech industry more diversified and inclusive
  6. You are deeply passionate about doing 'the startup journey': scaling the business from scratch, and delivering 3x YoY for the following years

What you’ll be responsible for

  1. Gaining Market Leadership
    1. Setting up and executing on SME Inside Sales strategies
    2. Develop Local Sales Strategies
    3. Continuously iterating and double down on the winners
    4. You will coordinate closely with Marketing and Operations in order to optimize cross-departmental processes and collaboration
  2. #1 Place to work
    1. Attracting and retaining top talents (10-20 the first year)
    2. Create highly efficient autonomous teams 
    3. Lead, motivate, promote and continuously develop your employees
    4. Maintaining high employee satisfaction (eNPS 50+)
